Wow, it's been 51 weeks since i've been here ... lol. Well, all i can say is some times life gets in the way.

In particular, this past summer was not an easy one for me. Very draining and exhausting, both physically and emotionally. It's almost over and hopefully, life will get back to some sort of normalcy for me or rather a new type of normalcy. i'm turning to LJ as i need some sort of outlet which has been absent in my life recently. i'm curious to the submissives out there ... have you ever been too drained to feed your submissive side? i am unowned and in no shape to serve any one at the moment and i'm actually quite concerned. i have been chatting with a Dominant for the past several months, but since my life turned upside down this summer, i don't feel emotionally strong enough to be of service even though i'm hugely attracted to Him. This has never happened to me and i don't know what to do ... i've decided to basically shut down, concentrate on my family and friends, my health and my mental well being both within the BDSM world and the vanilla world.

i hope i'm doing the right thing ...

i never thought i'd do this, but then i thought, why not? Now that i've learned that there are BDSM communities on LJ, i'm delighted and excited to meet and greet. i hope to forge new friendships through LJ and learn a thing or two. i've been in the D/s lifestyle for many years, but there's always more to learn isn't there?
